Need Assistance?

Do you wish you could provide something to assist your child with autism? We offer grants of up to $350 to help meet the needs of Vermonters with autism who are under 18. See a sample of services and equipment we can assist you with below. If you need assistance to purchase equipment, toys, therapeutic tools or services for your child, please download our simple grant application. Once completed, mail or FAX it to the Vermont Assistive Technology Program (VATP). You may also save a copy and send it as an email attachment to VATP.
Guidelines
Applicants can apply once every other calendar year (for example if you apply 2012, you can't apply again until 2014)
Quota- 5 grant applications a month ($400 each)

* Specialized therapy (Such as Therapeutic/Developmental Therapies)
* Recreational therapy (Such as swimming and horseback riding)

Equipment:
* Facilitated Communication (FC) Equipment
* Other Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) Devices & Boards, etc.

Toys that help with:
* Sensory Integration
* Fine motor skills
* Gross motor skills
* Tactile skills
